Passive Cooling
Passive cooling is the use of natural ventilation. It is the basic principle in architecture and has been used by our ancestors in the past. This lets the structure conserve on electric consumption because it lets the air circulate instead of using electrical devices to cool it. The rule of thumb is that hot air goes up and cold air goes down. We can take advantage of these techniques and use it in designing a house or buildings. This technique will work better if the structure is surrounded by trees. Use these techniques not only to conserve electrical consumption but to conserve the environment. One small step will mean a lot.
